The Y2000 century date change problem is universal and will affect all computer systems across the entire economy. Since the problem is a national crisis, it is necessary create a non-partisan co-ordinating body which will be instrumental in the successful readying of the SA economy for the century date change


To act as the common forum for all sectors of the SA economy, including government, Parastatals, private sector, non-profit organisations, etc. by sharing information on the state of compliance, methods for obtaining compliance and provide input to legislative bodies on the correct course of action.
