9      Examples of Test criteria and reports
9.1    R and G presented the "Year 2000 Test
       report" pack. Contains "Test results",
       Test procedure, Software Test Report
       (summary) and list of core applications.
       Accepted by group. Gert to provide
       machine readable copy to CA.
9.1.1  Test report results have to be interpreted and
       applicability evaluated per organisation.
9.1.2  There are no "absolute" results.
9.2    D presented 2 "Quality Checklist" documents.
       Accepted. Deon to provide machine readable copy
       to CA.
9.3    Lists of hardware(Device,BIOS level) still
       needed
9.3.1  Info such as "what Compaq bios level needed" etc
       to be submitted
10     New issues
10.1   Formal definition of full ISO8601 date/time
       standards for setting up system for Windows:
10.2   Short date: yyyy-MM-dd (Note the "-" not "/" and
       the caps (dd=day, MM-month)
10.3   Long date: dd MMMM yyyy (e.g. 21 January 1998)
       (Note 4xM and not 3xM)
10.4   Time: HH:mm:ss (Note the HH for 24 hour clock,
       and not hh which indicates AM/PM reference)
10.5   Lou-Ann raised question on how to use of Tools
       (such as Check 2000) in process. This led to discussion
       on determination and management of risks.
10.5.1 a) tools are useful for centralised initial
       analysis
10.5.2 b) use on every machine questionable
10.5.3 c) What is environment?: percentage network vs
          percentage standalone
10.5.4 d) Which BIOS and version is used?
10.5.5 e) "Inside Manager" from COMPAQ used to monitor
          Servers
10.5.6 f) Important to backup servers before testing
10.5.7 g) Use of checklists for upgrading servers to
          include "Prerequisites for Payment" on
          crucial "must do" items.
11     General
11.1   CA advised IEEE 2000.2 test document and the new
       consolidated Glossary are on web page, will not
       be sent email because of size.
11.1.1 CA advised attempting contact with IEEE Testing group
11.2   CA advised Siemens-Nixdorf-Microsoft Test Centre
       not available. Apparently only in Germany.
11.3   Minutes to be copied to CSSA and PMI
       Secretariats.
11.4   Telephone list was circulated and modified
11.4.1 RT to supply CA with machine readable copy
11.5   CA announced CD courseware "Year 2000: Training
       for Non-IS Managers" available from Laragh
       Courseware.
11.6   CA advised Elmar is producing "Noddy guide to
       testing" and a Testing document
