This resulted in an experimental BBC program called Hildegard 2000, a celebration of the 900th anniversary of the mediaeval Saint. Snippets of the Y2k interviews were dubbed into the program.
The "offcuts" are of interest to Y2k'ers. The snippets have now been joined together with glue and string and reorganised "by question", so sound quality is perhaps not impeccable, but the results are audible and hopefully meaningful.
These reconstituted "virtual" interviews of Robin Guenier, Doug Morrison, Dave Walton, David Atkinson MP, Mike Kusmirak, Mark Roberts and Chris Anderson are now available at http://www.cinderella.co.za/xxfiles.htm You will need RealAudio 5 in your Browser.
Why "XX files"? Well, first they were almost "lost", and secondly they have been snipped into pieces. B>)
Thanks to all involved, especially Penny Howell and Tony Pitts and his Beeb production team.
