Appendix to Scenario One.

A large and fairly high-tech company has a large number crunching MVS mainframe, an elderly 3270 coax network, and fairly modern LAN. Attached to the 3270 subsystem are some ancient XT machines with IRMA cards which perform 3270 terminal emulation. Some of these machines also have Magnabyte projectors attached and are used for demonstrating SAP R2 applications.

These old XT's have no concept of date. They will last to the end of time. Or until they burn out, whichever is the sooner. Cinderalla Object Class 0.

I examined one of these machines because it was using DOS 3.2, (rara avis), and subjected the software on it to the basic Acceptability tests, the results of which are analysed below.
