I personally cannot see or imagine any other venue for Cinderella. It is a creature of the Net.
Although the Net itself is fairly ancient, its widespread use (one can almost say household use) has changed many goal posts.
I observe the Educational facilities starting up. There is a great deal of general activity. A lot of things are still undefined. Nobody has yet said the last word on "How To", or "What"
Maybe HAL is the Net, and the Net is HAL. Maybe it will become sentient. Who knows.
